UPDATE (4:09 p.m., Sept. 10): The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office has identified the victim killed in a late-night crash on Campground Road as 22-year-old Bayram Nufarov.

According to Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Stacie Miller, Nufarov was driving on Campground Road on Friday, Sept. 4, around 10 p.m., when he failed to navigate a turn and collided head-on with another vehicle.

Nufarov was pronounced dead at the scene, while three others were taken to a local hospital. Miller had no update on their condition.

The accident is still under investigation, Miller added.

ORIGINAL (7:11 p.m., Sept. 5): One person was killed and three others were injured in a wreck on Campground Road on Friday night.

The incident happened around 10 p.m., on Sept. 4 when the driver of one car traveling on Campground Road failed to navigate a turn and collided head on with another vehicle, according to Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Stacie Miller.

One individual was pronounced dead at the scene. Three others were taken to a local hospital.

The name of the person killed is not being released at this time while the accident is still under investigation.
